EDI Analyst - Bethlehem, PA - US (headquarters)
Position Description
As an EDI Analyst, you will take responsibility for planning, implementing and supporting customer electronic transactions. This includes testing and verifying that EDI solutions are performing according to compliance requirements, and researching, analyzing, and recommending solutions to potential problems. Working directly with customers, suppliers, buyers, internal team members and technical resources, this person will be a single point of contact for EDI initiatives.As an EDI Analyst, you will:
| • | Interact with customers to provide assistance in the use of EDI developed applications |
| • | Keep abreast of industry trends and offer proposals for major changes to improve services |
| • | Review business processes and take action to meet trading partner EDI Compliance demands |
| • | Monitor transactions and resolve all error messages and/or lost transactions |
| • | Create & test EDI maps based on specifications |
As an EDI Analyst, you will be challenged with new and interesting projects on a daily basis. As your knowledge of our customers, software, and the industry excels, you will gain increasing responsibilities along with the potential for advancement and new challenges that is limited only by your own abilities and drive.
Requirements
The ideal candidate will have the following qualifications:| • | Hold a BS/BA in a related field |
| • | Have 1+ years EDI experience preferably in the Consumer Goods Distribution industry |
| • | Possess strong oral and written communication skills |
| • | Be self-motivated and have the ability to work independently |
| • | Be well organized, detail oriented and very proactive |
| • | Be willing to perform a limited amount of travel to customers for training |
